The woman behind the bottle is Samantha Bauer, a former geologist turned winemaker whose thoughtful farming in the Northern Sierra Foothills is guided by the minimalist principles of Masanobu Fukuoka, the Japanese philosopher & pioneer of natural agriculture. With obsessively clean winemaking and a hands-off approach in the cellar, Samantha lets the fruit and the land tell their story.
